A reunion of the original New McKinney's Cottonpickers 12-piece
band will perform a special concert at the Troy Elks Club on
Big Beaver Road (just east of Rochester Road and east of I-75) from

Cottonpickers members: cornetists Paul Klinger and Tom Saunders, trumpeter
John Trudell, trombonist Al Winters and saxophonists George Benson,

guitarist anthony Wilson and drummer Karriem Riggins. This whirlwind
tour goes to, New York, Los Angeles, Montreal and Toronto. The tour
includes appearances by Diana and the band at a private event in NYC
for former US President Bill Clinton on Thursday, September
21. Diana and the band will appear on national TV Wednesday, September
20 on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS), Monday, September
25 on The Tavis Smiley Show (PBS) , Tuesday, September 26 on
The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS), and Wednesday,
September 27 on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. This tour promotes
Diana Krall's new CD From This Moment On with the Clayton/Hamilton
Jazz Orchestra. From This Moment On will be officially released
internationally on September 11 and domestically on September 19.
The tour concludes with a benefit concert at the Rose Theatre
in Brampton, Ontario, Canada on Friday, September 29.

obscure and original big band material selected from the entire
