Paul Keller will perform as a member of The Emperor's Band at the 35th Annual Sacramento Jazz Jubilee. The Emperor's Band will play several sets over the weekend and Keller will also play several "sit-in" sets with other musicians at venues throughout downtown Sacramento. The Emperor's Band includes cornetist Tom Saunders, clarinetist Chuck Hedges, saxophonist Jim Galloway, trombonist Bill Allred, guitarist Howard Alden, pianist Johnny Varro and drummer Jake Hanna. The PKO will play from 8:15 PM till 9:15. Then, the Roosevelt HSJB will play a 30 minute set from 9:30 PM till 10:00. Members of the Roosevelt HSJB will be invited to join the PKO for the last set from 10:00 till 11:00. This event will be rewarding and memorable for the student musicians, the pros and audience members alike. The Roosevelt High School Jazz Band is directed by Mark D'Angelo.

Paul Keller will perform concerts on three nights for the 30th Anniversary of the Summit Jazz Foundation. Paul performs with the All Star band which includes vibraphonist/pianist John Coccuzzi, clarinetist Anat Cohen, guitarist Jerry Krahn, drummer Joe Ascione. All included in this 30th anniversary celebration will be The Jim Cullum Jazz Band, The New Black Eagle Jazz Band, The Alan Frederickson Jazz Ensemble and The Hot Antic Jazz Band from Nimes, France. These concerts will be held at the Sheraton Four Points in Denver (Southeast side) include an open bar, snacks and casual, caberet-style seating. Showtimes for both nights are at 7:00 PM.
